Adrenal glands are composed of two parts — the cortex and the medulla — which are each responsible for producing different hormones.

Vitamin C (ascorbic acid): The adrenal gland is among the organs with the highest concentration of vitamin C in the body. Interestingly, both the adrenal cortex and the medulla accumulate such high levels of ascorbate. Ascorbic acid is a cofactor required both in catecholamine biosynthesis and in adrenal steroidogenesis.
Vitamin B-6 (pyridoxine HCl): B6 also a coenzyme in several of the biochemical pathways in the adrenal cascade and plays a role in the functioning of the hypothalamic/pituitary/adrenal (HPA) axis that modulates the adrenal activity and the stress response.
Ashwagandha Root: In Western herbalism, Ashwagandha is valued as an adaptogen – an herbal modulator which can help restore hormone balance and healthy function in various body systems, but especially the adrenal glands, helping to promote stress resistance and energy throughout the day.
Holy Basil Leaf: Helps regulate cortisol.
L-Tyrosine: L-tyrosine plays an important role in the central nervous system, the thyroid, and the adrenal glands.* It is an amino acid precursor for the synthesis of the brain-friendly neurotransmitters norepinephrine and dopamine.*
Eleutherococcus senticosus (Siberian ginseng) (stem): Supports adrenals, is a nonspecific adaptogen, increases T-helper cells and NK activity—valuable in treating CFS.
Panax ginseng (stem and leaf): Ginsenosides, or the compounds responsible for the medicinal effects of ginseng, act on the adrenals to prevent excess corticosteroid production. They also shown to increase neurotransmitter activity and improve blood circulation in the brain.
Astragalus Root: Perfect for when you’re under constant stress. If your body always wired, it can suffer, so it’s important to support your general health too. Astragalus used for centuries in Chinese medicine as a tonic that supports your cardiovascular system and also your kidney and liver function. It is also a powerful immune stimulant.

I have never been one to notice a huge difference from taking vitamins and supplements but this one is amazing! My kidney area on my back would ALWAYS hurt when I would wake up. It was terrible getting up every day, then once I was up for a while I was fine. I thought I wasn’t drinking enough water but I drank a lot. Turns out it was my adrenal glands ON my kidneys. These helped so much and I haven’t hurt since I started taking them.
I don’t typically write reviews, because most herbs are either just okay, or stink. This product on the other hand is a must take. If I’m tired during the day, and take 4 caps….I will literally be ready to work or head to the gym right away. I always have two bottles on hand. This is a must buy.
I started taking 2 a day (morning) about a month ago and it seemed to immediately take the edge off my anxiety. I don’t have a lot of anxiety but every once in awhile it would spike for even minor situations and now just seems easier to control. I wish I could describe it better but hope it helps others the same
